It's an exciting time for our client German Doner Kebab as they continue their international growth into North America and Canada.
The unique fast-casual food franchise brand has just announced its plans to expand into Greater Toronto, with Vancouver and Ottawa locations in the pipeline.
This news will bring the total global store number to over 60; a fast-rising number for the Scottish-based kebab brand.
GDK has opened 38 restaurants in the UK over the past two years and has development plans for 350 franchise units in place over the next seven years.
Nigel Belton, managing director for GDK North America, said: “We are extremely excited to press ahead with our significant growth plans that will allow the brand to develop a footprint of strategic restaurant locations throughout North America. We have already signed up five franchisees with a development pipeline of 75 stores."
