Suzie is bfa accredited and the Principal Franchise Consultant at Platinum Wave. With close to 25 years of first-hand international franchising experience, she created the Franchise Skills Workshop - a unique online course dedicated to helping entrepreneurs franchise their business successfully.
A well-known personality in the franchising world, Suzie is a regular judge for awards such as the British Franchise Awards, Best Franchise Awards and the Elite Franchise 100. She is also Scottish Chair of Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) - an organisation very close to her heart.
About Suzie
Having franchised her own printer cartridge business from a single retail shop in Edinburgh to a network of over 70 franchised outlets across 6 countries from the Caribbean to the Middle East, it is fair to say Suzie’s consultancy comes with an authenticity that is hard to match.
Prior to founding Platinum Wave, Suzie was the Franchise Director and Board Member of £30m turnover recruitment franchise network, Select Appointments. More recently Suzie has been on the boards of some of the UK’s leading franchise brands, including Premier Education Group and Right at Home UK. She is currently Onboarding Director at HERO Brands, owners of international franchises including German Doner Kebab, Choppaluna, Island Poké and Dirty Bones.
In short, there isn’t much Suzie hasn’t done or experienced in franchising, and a safer pair of hands to guide you and your brand to greater success you won’t find anywhere.

When not helping businesses franchise, Suzie will be doing one of two things - ordering seafood and bubbles at a nice restaurant or watching trashy reality TV shows with her daughter.
