Tony Macaroni, which is part of the Viva Italia Group, opened its first restaurant in 2007. Since then, the group has expanded to having 19 restaurants under its umbrella and currently employs around 500 people across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Franchise Models
For each of the three business models, the following are critical to the success of the Franchisees business:

Taking full advantage of home delivery
In the last year Tony Macaroni has seen an explosion in its takeaway orders. The company has optimised its menus to ensure customers enjoy the same quality of food through takeaway as they would experience in its restaurants and has launched an online wine store.
Franchise partners will have access to bespoke branded packaging, marketing & IT solutions that integrate seamlessly into EPOS systems to ensure efficient operational delivery & ease of ordering.
Some locations will have access to the Tony Mac delivery fleet of branded Fiat S00's while others will be able to offer delivery through the most widely used 3rd party delivery services. All Franchise partners will have the opportunity to offer Tony Macaroni Takeaway (Click & Collect) which customers order online or via a custom app.
The level of investment for the store fit out, equipment, stock, small wares and launch marketing package will range from approximately £250k - £750k + VAT (Inc. the Initial Franchise Fee) however this will of course vary depending on the size and location of your premises, seating capacity and level of refurbishment required.
