We are delighted that our CEO Suzie McCafferty, has recently been announced as a Finalist for the WeDO Scotland Business Awards 2019 in the International Entrepreneur of the Year category.
The WeDO Scottish Business Awards are a highly respected and prestigious highlight in the annual Scottish business calendar and celebrate outstanding business success. The event will raise funds for WeDO’s nominated charity, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, which aids research into Motor Neuron Disease. Eight categories in total are judged comprehensively by an expert panel of judges, before each finalist is interviewed mid May. Suzie is down to the final two, so we are all cheering her on!
Suzie has almost twenty years of first-hand international franchising experience and is a well-known personality in not only the franchising world, but the business world too. Suzie founded Platinum Wave in 2010 after gaining more than 10 years’ experience in franchising, first as a franchisor who built her own retail brand from a single store in Edinburgh to a network of over 70 outlets in 6 countries including the Middle East and the Caribbean, then as the Franchise Director and Board Member of a multi-million-pound division of a recruitment PLC. It is fair to say she knows a thing or two about international business and franchising!
